The late set

Downstairs, after eleven, where the musicians go when their own set ends.

Nightlife

A basement room in the Village, a booth held, and a set that runs until the players decide otherwise. Occasionally a private session in a studio instead — the same musicians, nobody else in the room.

We do not send clients to a list of clubs. We send them to a specific room on a specific night because of who is playing.

Why New York

The late set is a New York habit: musicians finishing their own gigs and going downtown to play the one that actually matters to them.

Why KNOWN

We know the bookers and, in several rooms, the players. The table is held before the night appears on any calendar — which is the only moment it can be held.

What it can include

  • 01A held table or booth for the late set
  • 02Entry without a line
  • 03An introduction to the players where appropriate
  • 04A private studio session as an alternative
  • 05Cars on standby until the room closes

Illustrative, not a package. Every element is confirmed against the date, the party and what the partner can honour.

Good to know

  • Programming firms up two to three weeks out.
  • Most rooms are 21+ and strictly cash-free.
  • Late sets rarely start before 11.30pm.
