Private Architecture & the East End

Manhattan's rooms in the morning light, then a night on Long Island in a house of glass.

Three days in the city reading its buildings — lobbies, residences, the skyline from the air — then out east to a private glass house for a night of quiet.

The journey between the two is part of the stay: a short flight over the water rather than three hours on the expressway.

  1. Day 01

    Arrival

    Morning

Curbside greet at Newark or JFK, straight to the suite.

    Afternoon

Rest. A short walk through the neighbourhood if the client wants air.

    Evening

A private dining room in a townhouse, the menu agreed in advance.

Driver and greeter share one contact; the suite is ready on arrival.

  2. Day 02

    Reading the city

    Morning

Landmark lobbies and residences with an architectural historian.

    Afternoon

Lunch, then an afternoon free for the galleries the client cares about.

    Evening

Dinner, then an early night before the morning flight.

Walking routes sequenced so the car is a convenience, not a necessity.

  3. Day 03

    From above

    Morning

The city from the air at first light.

    Afternoon

A free afternoon; a fitting or atelier visit on request.

    Evening

A seat in the wings of a Broadway house, then supper nearby.

Heliport transfer timed against the theatre curtain.

  4. Day 04

    The Glass House

    Morning

A short flight east; met on landing and driven to the house.

    Afternoon

The house is the client's. Pool, gardens, nothing scheduled.

    Evening

Dinner at the house — a chef or a quiet table for two, decided in advance.

Bags travel separately; the house is prepared before arrival.

  5. Day 05

    Departure

    Morning

    Breakfast in the glass room.

    Afternoon

Flight from the East End, or a return to Manhattan for an evening departure.

Departure routed from Long Island; no need to re-enter the city.

Why it's KNOWN

The East End night exists through a personal relationship with the owners. We coordinate the flight, the house and the return so the transition feels like one gesture.
